May 2021 Message from Our CEO
As we are all very well aware, 2020 was an extraordinary year by any measure. It was a year of a global pandemic, a global recession, unprecedented government actions, turbulent elections, and deeply felt social and racial injustice. It was a year in which each of us faced difficult personal challenges, and sadly a staggering number of us lost loved ones. It was also a year when those among us with less were disproportionately hurt by joblessness and poverty. And it was a time when companies discovered what they really were, were not, and sometimes, what they might become.
Fixing America’s problems is going to take diligence and hard work on everyone’s part. But if we will divide them into their component parts, we will find many viable solutions. I must add that with thoughtful analysis, common sense and pragmatism, there is hope.
As we move towards the summer, I am hopeful for the future. Although COVID-19 is still prevalent as I write this letter, many across the state and our country are being vaccinated. I hope by the time you read this; more members of our community will have had the opportunity to receive the vaccine. I continue to be grateful for the health care providers in this country who work tirelessly to care for our citizens during these challenging times.
Additionally, I have little doubt that with excess savings, new stimulus savings, huge deficit spending, more QE, a new potential infrastructure bill, a successful vaccine and euphoria around the end of the pandemic, the U.S. economy will begin to boom again, hopefully.
I remain incredibly grateful for our employees’ unwavering support, hard work, and dedication and also very grateful to our customers for their support. EnviroVac is proud to announce two new locations, Shreveport, Louisiana and Mobile, Alabama. It is great to be expanding into these regions, especially when we can scale and still maintain the high safety standards that EnviroVac is known for in the industrial cleaning industry. EnviroVac, currently has surpassed 1.5 million-man hours without a recordable injury or a lost time incident. This is truly an incredible accomplishment!
May you and your families remain healthy, safe, and happy. And remember, humor lightens one’s mood and boost creativity, humor is good for your health. A study of Norwegians showed that people with a sense of humor lived eight years longer. It can also help lower your risk of dying from heart disease or infection, so remember to add laughter in your life each and every day!
God Bless and Stay Safe!
Kevin Jackson, EnviroVac CEO
