Looking Back on 2021 & Ahead to 2022

Looking Back on 2021 & Ahead to 2022

As we embark on the new year, I wanted first and foremost to thank you all for your continued support. 2021 has been another unusual year for the world, our country, and Envirovac. It is noteworthy that we have all experienced the frequency and magnitudes of the highs and lows of the past year. A quick year review recalls the hopefulness over vaccines, the untidy transfer of power in the United States, the all-too-brief periods of bipartisanship in Washington, the successive waves of the COVID variants and consequences thereof, and the vigorous deliberations around the environment, schooling, diversity, opportunity, intergenerational fairness, and more.

As I write this first letter of 2022, the omicron variant is sadly returning in some states to a semi-locked down situation, with gatherings and travel canceled by companies and families. It has been a confusing and arduous year.

The markets experienced an interesting variety of events, such as the disappearance and re-emergence, of meme stocks, cryptocurrencies, high-flying “EV” stocks, and growth/value differentials. The market also saw for the first time in generations the return of inflation and the ensuing Federal Reserve and other central bank’s twists and turns. Yet through all this commotion, stock markets for the most part, scaled new heights and rewarded the patient investor.

As we conclude the year 2021, we have numerous things for which to be grateful and several things of which to be proud. On the top of that list is our gratitude for your partnership, respect and trust in allowing us to meet your industrial cleaning needs. We intend to continue to earn this trust and respect.

As we enter 2022, we acknowledge some things are in our control and some are most definitely not. At Envirovac, we will continue our focus on our dedication, service and advice capabilities. We are very hopeful that 2022 brings some break in the COVID virus. We wish you a very safe, prosperous, and meaningful 2022.
