EVU Boot Camp – Summer 2022
That’s a wrap! The first round of EVU Bootcamp is officially in the books! This training program empowers employees to be the best they can be each and every day, while setting the stage for a prosperous future within the company. EnviroVac University gives EnviroVac team members the opportunity to learn the skills needed to succeed in their career.
According to Joe Gill, SVP of Operations – East Region, “Hands on training is a great way to fast track to another position within the company.”
EVU Training Manager, Kirby Baxter, echoed that EnviroVac is proud to offer our team members the opportunity for growth and advancement within the company.
She went on to say, “As we approach one of our busiest times of the year, Outage Season, it is paramount that we set each employee up for success. One step in doing this is ensuring that newly promoted leaders and current leadership are prepared. Everyday tasks can easily become routine and that is when people make the most mistakes. To increase awareness a 5-day training that focused on the importance of doing the little things correctly, the “why” behind doing certain things, and increasing knowledge in various areas took place. This not only allowed for some amazing team building between the employees but cultivated an environment for sharing knowledge and experiences which in turn, equals internal, organic growth.”
In addition to Joe and Kirby, we would like to thank everyone from our corporate office team, who took part in presenting during the EVU Boot Camp. This hands on and safety skills training will prove paramount as we head into another record breaking outage season this fall.
